So much for cover. Skylos thought a little bit annoyed. Granted, it wasn't like this Niko look-alike was going to hurt them. "We might not be Merged, but we have a vested interest..." At least I think we do... But then he processed what Valdis was saying. What? From this far back? Were there other time travel shenanigans or something? "I'm not sure if we need to jump in, Halo. Just because we're here doesn't mean we need to be apart of history." They couldn't change anything anyway.

Arianna's apprehension was growing and she, like Halo, felt antsy to do something. She started coughing more and more as the poisonous air thickened around them, her eyes and lungs starting to burn. She could create a Rift to where the air was fresh, to start ventilating it before they were all poisoned except Halo, but it would likely give them away.
She registered that Aura Human standing before them now, thought to herself. Have we seen him before..? Then Valdis shouted something, drawing attention to them anyway, so she figured the Rifts wouldn't make much of a difference anymore.
Arianna opened a few small Rifts between them and where the poison was drifting over -- large enough to be effective but small enough that their view of the unfolding scene in the village below wouldn't be totally blocked. The Rifts opened up to areas of the deserted space between the market and this village (as she didn't want to start venting poison directly into the market..).
"What do you mean 'dark'?" She turned to Valdis. "From the poison cloud?" Rem and Skylos had addressed the Aura Human already, so she focused on Valdis, and breathing, and waiting to see how the village would react to them..
Maura was dumbfounded for a split second - How can someone capture.. the wind?! - before those same winds were sent right back at them. She focused on regaining control over them and dissipating them. She also created a counter wind to prevent all of them from getting blown into the ominous lake.
She hesitated to attack with Wind again, though, if he was able to just use their Powers against them.. Hopefully Aqua's direct combat would fair better!

Valdis saw the world differently. He didn't really see shapes and colours like a normal person, he saw life essence. He could see things as they were but they all glowed with a colour of their life. So when he was saying they were becoming dark, it was clear that people were dying in front of the group. Inotia shook his head to Skylos and Rem. "You are not merged, so you are not condemned, and you are not warriors, so you have no business fighting, nor are you from around here. I do not know who you are or from where you have come, but leave, now!" He said this with a very clear authority as he pressed on from the group.
Inotia approached Runa holding his hands out glowing a deep golden hue. The poisonous air would begin to dissipate from around him, although Runa kept pumping it. "Your people are no longer welcome in this kingdom, Runa." Runa pulsed with energy, "you can not take me, Inotia. You can not and will not harm my people, either."
Suddenly a very large explosion would be heard, shaking the ground itself. Like a switch the chaos ensued. The distraction paused the poison in the air. The soldiers immediately sprang into action and swarmed the village as more bombardment strikes were heard from Atlantean weapons. The ground shook with each impact. Screams could be heard from the village as the soldiers did their duty. Valdis screamed and held his head, "They're going dark," he screamed.
"Where did Runa go?" commented Markov. Inotia had also vanished. Explosions of power could be heard further down the way, likely a battle taking place. Valdis seemed interested and took off once again going toward it. "No more dark, no more dark, no more dark!"
--------------------- (guys, just because it's difficult to RP a fight with yourself, let's just say Keera is battling alongside the group)
Tavin rolled his eyes spinning with each hit from Aqua. "Really? Hand-to-hand? That's your plan?" As Aqua went to hit with strong strikes one after another, Tavin just kept dodging. Aqua would recognize it as the same agile style Niko used to use. "I bet those hurt, but you can't even touch me! Unless you want to, all you have to do is ask," jibed Tavin. His bird would suddenly strike him with a line of blue coloured aura. Tavin would pulsate and then he went to make a strike at Aqua. If he succeeded she'd feel a needle-like prick. A corruption of the aura, which would take the form of pain and weakened powers. "You're no fun," laughed Tavin at the sight of the group not using the lake against him.
-------------------
Niko met Raylu's eyes. "He's full of hatred, Raylu, full of it that it corrupted him. He's a merged, you know. Meditator and warrior, and he's older than me." Niko's gaze turned away from Raylu for a moment. "Hates our family, hates it for all that it is and all that we are because of what we did."

Rem didn't argue with Inotia, mostly because he quickly moved on towards the battle. A lot was happening, and it was taking focus to keep track of what was important. But he hated feeling like he 'should' be doing something, but knowing he shouldn't. He didn't even know which side was in the right or wrong. All they really knew was that Valdis knew Runa. They were following others into the past, but they still weren't sure why they came back here. Did they intend to change something? Rem then noticed Valdis run off. "Valdis, wait!" Rem called out to him. "Damn it, we better go after him." Rem started following after him, hoping he didn't get into any trouble.
---------
Aqua didn't seemed bothered by the taunting, as she remained serious. She expected an aura human to keep up with her, but she trained with Raylu using tons of aura based skills and combat styles. She might not have been on the same level as Niko or Raylu, but she wasn't a pushover. She noticed his shift in aura after being stuck by his bird's aura, and she was prepared for some kind of attack. Using her aura shift skill, she shifted all her energy into her speed, attempting to out pace Tavin. She'd dodge the strike, but then she'd go to grab his arm once he missed. If she was quick enough to grab him, she'd shift her aura back to focus on power to keep ahold of him, and try to twist his arm behind his back. If this worked, she'd form an ice shard in her hand in attempts to cut Tavin, but nowhere vital.
------------
This caught Raylu's interest. Raylu gathered from his emotions from his aura that whatever this was must've been big. "Normally I wouldn't pry, Sir Niko, but what is it that you refer to? If so much of what he is now is connected to this hatred, it would key in understanding him and dealing with him." Raylu, at this time, wasn't thinking of simply dispatching him. If there was some way of reaching Tavin, of course he'd want to try. More had been becoming important to Raylu other then simply battle and protection.

Skylos was quick to follow after Rem and Valdis. Inotia was correct, of course, but they were here now and that was something that had already happened and couldn't be prevented. "Yeah. I don't want him to get involved... and I don't want him to get himself killed!" Skylos had seen what Valdis could do to people. He had told him it was wrong, but would he remember that?

Halo followed after Rem, Valdis, and Skylos. No sense in standing around, especially when she knew she couldn't truly do anything useful other than observe and things were looking brutal, so she didn't really want to see it anymore anyway. She simply decided to go with the flow for now. She began to figure Valdis was picking up on something important that none of them were able to...
----------
Trevor was clearly seeing the struggle that Maura and Aqua were both having with Tavin. On the sideline for a moment, he glanced at the lake. He was near it already. He wasn't a Water user, so would it be of any use to him? Suddenly he felt overwhelmed with a sense of curiosity that needed to be quenched. What was so special about this lake? Could he use it to his advantage? What would happen if... It seemed as if no time had passed and Trevor was already putting his hand into the water.

Valdis ran through the village, the sounds of a small battle echoed around them. It was not a battle that seemed equal sided, there were many screams and shouts as though people were being routed and killed. Valdis just kept running through the streets muttering something about the dark. Valdis suddenly stopped, having brought the group to a nondescript looking home. Something that looked designed to sleep in and not entertain, it was made to not be noticed with only 1 window on the front wall. "It was always dark," Valdis muttered looking at it. An explosion was then heard and if the group turned they would see Atlantean soldiers pulling people, likely Merged, out of their homes and executing them.
"Another one," called one of the soldiers, crashing out of the home that Valdis had brought the group to. He was dragging someone by their hair. It was none other than Valdis, obviously dressed as an Atlantean, this was Valdis of the past. Markov blinked shocked. The soldiers seemed not to have noticed the group, with their backs turned and the general loudness and chaos of the area around them. "No," said Markov, fists balling up, and shadow moving around them. "Past or no past, they don't get to kill children," muttered Markov walking towards the soldier.
"They wanted to hurt me," muttered Valdis, "I was saved...they were dressed strange..."
------------------
Tavin's strike missed and Aqua was successful in grabbing him, but Tavin grabbed her hand, too. Despite his thin appearance he seemed surprisingly strong. "Never touch the dog, you might get fleas." Aqua would feel multiple pinpricks all over her as Tavin's power moved through his skin into her body, pulling at aura. That was when Tavin heard a tell tale splash. "Not how I wanted it to happen, but I'll take it," he said.
Tavin's bird suddenly flew into the sky and shifted forms again. The lake water would flow up Trevor's arm and the wetness it left felt different. Not like a wetness on the skin, it was like a wet coldness that went through his body. It would shoot through his body but it didn't feel evil. That was until Tavin's bird struck the water with a mysterious power. Trevor would suddenly feel the water shoot through him, now malevolently. His spirit would feel like it was being yanked right out of his body, it was even possible to see with the naked eye
------------------
"I didn't know I had a third brother for a very long time. Father kept it from me, raising only I and Presidius together. Tavin was born before him, actually, he was the only one in our family that saw Atlantis with his own eyes." Niko looked at Raylu, "think about it, what do you think that means?"

Skylos looked from Valdis to Valdis and heard what he said. "Uh. Did they look like us by any chance? Because if so," Golden sparks began to collect into his left hand. His eyes glowed with yellow and gold. "that's the only invitation I need." Skylos Light Dashed forward, ready to tag-team with Markov as soon as he acted.

Rem watched Markov charge off, and wondered if he should've stopped him, but it was too late. Markov got involved in the battle. "Ugh, damn it! What happened about not causing a mess?!" Rem idly wondered if this could've been way they were led here. To either save Valdis, or something set up by who they chased here. "I feel like at this point things either have already changed, or they were always going to happen now." Rem rushed in after Markov, not entirely sure if it was the right move, but he'd be lying if he said that this wasn't bothering him.
----------
Aqua yelled out in response to her aura seemingly being infected. Had she been Raylu, she might've had an idea on how to fight that out easily, but she was not. But she didn't let go of Tavin, even after she saw what was happening to Trevor. Her eyes widened when she saw what was happening to him. Her earlier attempt to take Tavin was going to have to wait, as well as fixing her own aura, otherwise Trevor could be a goner. Counting on Tavin to be distracted by turning his attention to Trevor's soul being sucked, she went to strike the elbow joint area on the arm she was holding onto. Easily enough force to break bones, though Tavin's aura could probably lessen the effects. After her attack, she'd let go of Tavin for now to focus on his bird, hoping to cut off the flow of energy from him into the water. For a brief second, a blue symbol appeared on her forehead, as her aura spiked pretty noticeably. She moved her arms, as suddenly geysers of water erupted from the ground around the area, acting like Hydro Cannons, aiming right for the bird. This was water she formed underground, and not the infected lake water, as she wasn't sure what would happen if she tried to use it. She already saw what happened with Trevor simply touching it. They were coming from different directions, trying to converge on the bird. Aqua was prepared for the bird to dodge though, as well as not forgetting about Tavin. "Elemental, don't leave me now..." She mumbled to herself, as she focused.
------
Raylu was taking in Niko's words, as well as trying to remember his limited information on Atlantis. "A bastard child, In a sense..." Raylu mumbled. "Such a young child at the time, he'd be very impressionable. Forgotten and abandoned in his own mind, and left to fester hundreds of years...The Atlantian War was long, and many people were lost and misplaced...I remember that much. I was not directly involved, but it was a world power in it's time. The effects of that war were felt the world over...But had he found he'd been replaced..." Raylu was getting a better idea of why Tavin was the way he was. Why though was he working with his current group then? Maybe it was like his old former rival Xernus, working with whoever for his own benefit. Maybe it was because this group knew Niko, and Tavin wanted to punish whoever Niko was connected to? Maybe he was just bored? These thoughts ran through Raylu's head. He'd need a better idea of Tavin's logic if he had any hope of reaching him.

Halo's eyebrows shot up as suddenly she completely understood!! She had the quick thought of how neat it was she was getting to be involved in a Time Paradox! She couldn't help it, because it was somewhat of a bragging right among Time Demons, and now she'd have her own to boast!~
This only lasted a moment, though, as she immediately knew it was her duty to help save past-Valdis. So, without further coaxing needing, similarly to Skylos, she took action. Because Time was already potentially vulnerable in this current Space, she opted to fight with her Storm Power for now. Markov and Skylos had already moved forward, so Halo let herself raise into the air a few feet, getting the air swirling around her, livening her up and her face darkened. Markov and Skylos would begin to feel like their own ability to move was being made easier and faster as Halo used the air around them to facilitate their own movement. If they jumped into the air, they'd glide effortlessly through it and more swiftly than usual as well.
----------
Trevor felt the cold 'wetness' start moving into him. It definitely didn't feel bad, and his curiosity grew. Of course, that was until Tavin's bird messed it all up! Suddenly, the feeling became dark and evil! Trevor yanked himself back, but it was too late! It felt like he was being consumed from the inside out! What was happening to him? He tried to fight back with Power, but would it work? He could barely make out that Aqua was on the case, trying to help him. As his mind became to feel weaker, he sorely hoped she could stop what he assumed would be his imminent demise...

(we'll just say that Arianna told Valdis to stay back because meeting your past self and time explosions and all that)
As the group charged in the soldier was very much caught off guard. Shadows whirrled around him and grabbed him and yanked him off of past Valdis. Past Valdis looked fearful and backed away, but did not yet appear to run. "Stay away from him," shouted Markov.
In the back Valdis' eyes widened and he seemed to mouth it lightly, as though he was remembering something said to him from long before.
The soldier got himself up and gripped his weapon, more soldiers began to join him. "You are interfering," he warned the group, weapon gripped and aimed at them. The other soldiers did so forming a firing position around the group.
------------
Tavin was indeed struck by Aqua but her hit did not break bones due to his aura powers. He just laughed as he was knocked back and slowly stood back up, stretching his shoulders and neck like he had just gotten out of bed. "So you do have some bite," he said. His bird seemingly finished with Trevor began to fly away, although it was also struck by Aqua's water attacks. Tavin responded by glowing blue and sending his own blue aura energy into the bird to keep it safe. Trevor would feel extremely weakened, but not at all dead. The water did not suck his soul out of him, but it did violently copy it. "I was hoping for the depressive water bitch, but I'll settle for mud boy over here."
------------
"He wasn't replaced by me," said Niko, "dad looked for him, but Tavin was gone, long gone. Dad sent him away because he knew the war would be dangerous and he didn't want Tavin hurt. I guess he didn't see it that way, whoever found Tavin obviously had a long time with him. He's full of jealousy and hatred right now, and he's constantly trying to prove he's better than me and my entire family. Hates us, every single one of us. You have to believe me, though, he's not full of hatred. I tracked him down one time, although I didn't confront him because he is stronger than me, but he does have a gentle side. I've seen him care about others, especially war orphans and lost kids, he identifies with them. He's full of anger, but he is not evil. Just try to save him, defeat him without killing him. His powers are different from mine.
His aura is strong, and he channels them through his bird, kind of light a magnifying glass focusing the sun's light. He has a lot and if he gets far enough he can unleash some major hell but it won't be fully controlled, probably because he was never trained properly. Still, he's my half brother..."

"It wouldn't be the first time, and it probably won't be the last time." Skylos quipped before unleashing the energy stored in his hands. Bolts of brilliant Gold streaked across the battlefield, dancing their way into multiple enemies, assuming they weren't able to protect themselves from his charged attack. As usual, these were not lethal attacks, but served to stun anyone out of action that dared target Valdis... and Valdis. We need for him to get away. Get him out of here! Skylos radioed to the group. Of course, Skylos wasn't exactly sure what happened between now and the present, but he knew he'd make the right choices considering it would have to be a stable time loop of sorts.

Rem raised his shield in defense of the oncoming attacks, charging attacks, and firing blasts at them. Rem tried to work his way to past Valdis so he could prevent the soldiers from recapturing him, hoping Markov and Skylos' attacks would provide cover for him in the sudden confusion. Rem saw that Halo seemed to be preparing something, so he'd focus on defending her. At this point, he drew his sword, as it began to have energy swirl around it in a redish color. He swung his sword, sending the wave towards the solders. It wouldn't be lethal, but it would hurt.
-----
Aqua found that Tavin was protecting his bird with his aura. She noticed that while the attack effected Trevor, he didnt seem dead at least. She turned and glared at Tavin. "I think you'll find the 'depressive water bitch' to be more than enough for you. Now what did you do to Trevor!?" Her aura spiked, as she sped at Tavin with quick speeds to crash into him with a tackle. Her body would've been coated in her aura, so the attack would've been more than just her body, though with her training Aqua's body was plenty strong anyway. As she charged she snapped her fingers, as the air around the bird grew cold, it exploded in explosions of ice energy. This would be sending shards of ice all over the air space, making it hard to dodge them all. On the Tavin side of things, be it he moved away from her sudden speedy tackle or not, she'd put her hands together to fire out a strong high powered stream of water. It would be more effective if this happened directly into Tavin, but it would still be speedy in following him even if he dodged the direct attack.
-----
Raylu shook his head. "I don't doubt that for a moment, but it would be hard to convince him of such things...The hate would need to be dispelled first...My calming aura may be able to make an opening, but getting through to him may still prove difficult..." Raylu didn't have the greatest confidence in his people skills, he was no Skylos. He did care, but would that be enough to get through?
Raylu then directed his focus on the rest of what Niko was saying to him. "So he is more powerful, but less trained, less focused...That could be the weakness I need to exploit in him, but could also mean he's perfected some unexpected skills...Aside from his lack of formal training, is there anything else in him I might be able to use against him to create an opening? Anything I should expect outside of the bird's skills?"

Halo heard Skylos' message loud and clear. She agreed, of course, and knew with her flight, she should easily be able to manage the request! Already in the air anyway, she moved swiftly toward past-Valdis and went to scoop him up and soar higher and far away from all of the current fighting and chaos. Hopefully not much of a chase would ensue. If all went well, she'd be much faster in the air than whoever might pursue them.
-----
Trevor kind of began to regain a more conscious and self-aware state again, which felt a little like he was coming out of anesthesia (or how he imagined that to feel anyway). His eyes suddenly darted around, noticing he no longer seemed to be in imminent personal danger, but what had Tavin's bird done to him? He was weak, but otherwise felt... normal? He sat up, breathing heavily, heart pounding harder now as his anxiety rose in his chest. There had to be something done to him. But what was it? He checked himself over and over. What.....

Past Valdis was scooped up by Halo and flown away from the battlefield. Other Valdis seemed to watch himself fly away in Halo's arms and tilted his head. "It was high up, I liked the view...it was sad..."
The soldiers were indeed stunned and shouted, which likely would attract more attention. Markov aided Skylos by spreading shadow mist around them to muffle their sounds. If the group looked up they'd see someone on the rooftops. The lady that they had seen at the beginning of all this whom the soldiers identified as Runa, battling Inotia directly. However, she did seem to take notice of the group's actions. It was quick so it was hard to read her expression but was it...approval? Gratitude? She obviously didn't have time to linger as she was engaged further with Inotia.
Around the group they could hear more screams. "It's a genocide," commented Markov, "should we interfere? We're keeping Valdis safe, but beyond that, I'm not sure."
-------------------
Tavin's bird flew high above the ice, aura shooting around it like a small shield. As Aqua approached Tavin with her aura induced charge, Tavin would suddenly pulsate a deep blue. He ran right at Aqua and took the full force into himself, but he seemed to grow in strength from the aura power. Taking in Aqua's attack, and then directing it up at his bird, who's shield became far more powerful and deflected the ice attacks. Tavin then did a few flips, and jumped out of the way, distancing himself from Aqua. "Sensitive, aren't you?" he jibed.
The water would suddenly begin to pulsate and suddenly a large chasm opened and from it sprang forth a bunch of Trevor clones that looked to be made of the same type of water. They seemed to come in extreme numbers, going from tens to hundreds very quickly. "There's a few uses for this place, but it needs a soul to get started. Water, Aqua, felt right but I guess muddy boy works, too." Tavin winked, "shadows are negative energies, so all I did was mix it with Trevor's soul, yank it, out, and boom Trevor clones. By the hundreds, don't have his charm, but they work."
Tavin then reached into his pocket and withdrew something which he casually tossed between his hands. "So, let's talk deal. I outnumber you...by a lot. You want good ole Ponic back, I want shadow girl over there. I also have her precious family crystal. So whadda ya' say? I bring back Ponic, Keera gets her husband back, and we all go home happy. Promise to give her back, I'll even throw in her past for good measure."

Niko locked eyes with Raylu. "Don't piss him off," he said and then disappeared.

"Outside of helping Valdis, I'm not really sure what we should do. I'd like to help, but there's nothing saying we should. In fact, someone already told us not to interfere..." Skylos noted. "We should get out of here. Let's meet up with Halo."

Rem regrouped with Skylos and Markov at this point, as Halo managed to save the past Valdis. "I'm not entirely sure we can trust anyone here but the past Valdis..." Rem looked up at Runa fighting. "Something doesn't sit right with me with her...She must care about Valdis, but I'm not sure if that means taking out either side is a good idea." He looked to Skylos, and nodded. "Let's get moving then." He said, starting his jet boots up, and flying after Halo.
-----------------
Once contact was made, she felt the energy sap from her. Tavin was somehow draining aura from her, possibly just from contact. She jumped backwards, after she then saw her water attack deflected into his bird, and then powered it up. Aqua just glared back at him from his taunting. Then the water opened, as all these Trevor clones started appearing from the opening. Aqua listened to his explanation of the clones, as she grew a little worried. Even if they were just a small part of his power, that many Trevor's would be very deadly. "Oh, I'm supposed to believe that, like I was supposed to take the water bait? You could've gotten Valdis killed, you've helped kidnap Ponic, and your in league with that shadow bitch that was infecting people. What credible reason do I have to believe you? You think I can't just take the crystal from you?" Aqua narrowed her eyes, as they started to glow. A marking on her forehead would be fading in and out. If I can transform, even Trevor's clones could be managed...But the real Trevor is weakened, and Maura's my only backup. He's going to play Keera into his hands, I can already feel that doubt festering in her...I don't know if I can fight them all, and protect Keera...But I have to! Aqua glanced over her shoulder to Keera. "Don't listen to him Keera, he's just telling you what you want to hear! I've got your back!" Aqua was keeping her aura senses open, trying to keep an eye on the others, Tavin, the bird, and the clones. There was a lot going on for one person to manage.
--------
And just like that, Niko was gone again from Raylu. "Getting through to him might be our best chance..." He then checked his Light Prism, tied around his arm. He saw it was a message from Aqua, letting him know they went to the shadow realm. "I need to hurry..." Raylu then focused on finding Aqua's aura. Knowing for look for it connected to the shadow realm, he focused before teleporting away.

Halo eventually landed once she felt that she and past-Valdis were sufficiently safe. Now they just needed the others to catch up, which she figured shouldn't be long. "Are you okay?" She looked at past-Valdis. He seemed fine. Then again, he kind of had be. In this kind of a situation, it was nice knowing she could kind of relax and let her instincts take over. It all was destined to turn out okay. If only regular life had these kinds of assurances.
----------
Trevor was definitely hearing Tavin and seeing the clones. He wasn't stupid, he was grasping quickly what had happened to him now! Part of him almost wondered if he should be flattered about Tavin saying he had 'charm', but ultimately now was not the time.
When Tavin made his trade proposal though, he paused, and then instinctively his eyes turned to Keera. It almost seemed like a decision that she was going to have to make. He was still so weak and doubted he could perform like he should be able to. He felt stunned into silence for the moment, opting to wait for an answer from Keera.

Valdis looked over at Runa as she stared at the group before becoming distracted once again with whatever battle she was stuck with. "I'm sorry I got lost," whispered Valdis. Markov turned to Valdis and moved to him. "Are you OK?" he asked. Valdis nodded, "it got worse..."
Past Valdis looked at Halo and seemed to cock his head in amazement. "I'm not OK, I'm Valdis," he said poking at her. He seemed absolutely fascinated by this random time/storm demon standing in front of him that looked nothing like a normal Atlantean. The sounds of screams and fire could be heard around them and Past Valdis looked around and then sat down. "All alone again," he said dropping his head.
----------------
Tavin laughed at Aqua, "girl you're lucky you look cute since you are clearly not the clearest water in the lake. Ponic isn't kidnapped you idiot. He's right there in Keera's hand," he said pointing. "Just stuck in a world of no time, so there's no way out, at least not yet." The fake Trevor's surrounded the group and earth began to shoot around them. "I'm asking 1 more time, only," said Tavin. "This fight will definitely have attracted attention. I can give Keera back her memories, and I know how you can free Ponic, she just needs to come with me for but a moment."
Keera, (who had been fighting but her author is too lazy to type that shit out) looked at Tavin with narrowed eyes and the dagger gripped. "You harm my husband, and my friends and think I'm stupid enough to trust you? The Shadow Realm has a better chance of lighting up with the sun before I will go with you!"
Tavin rolled his eyes, "OK, you brought this on yourselves, then." Tavin grabbed hold of his bird and flew into the air. The water would begin to churn and even more darkness would start to crawl around the group. Keera looked around and her eyes went wide. The group would feel as though despair suddenly began to grip them. "Irates," she whispered. The fake Trevors also began to attack. "We should retreat, find literally anywhere else to go."
----------------
(this part is for people with Valdis, I'm just moving things on a bit. Go ahead and post your reactions when you catch up with him and Halo)
After the group had caught up with Past Valdis and Halo to check on him things would begin to change around them. Markov had also kept present day Valdis hidden to ensure that they did not meet as he had seen 1 too many scifi movies to be completely OK with what might happen. Time around them would begin to change and the group would see scenes of crashing waves play out in front of them followed by a city being destroyed.
"Auntie? Where are you?" called a disembodied voice that was likely a vision of past Valdis.
Suddenly they would all find themselves in a deserted area. All around them were barren mountains, and the land looked completely desolate, just useless brown dirt. It would be impossible to tell by sight alone where they were.
Ahead was a stadium. Past Valdis had vanished and now there was only Present Day Valdis. He looked at the large stone stadium and shrank back in fear shaking his head. "No, no, no. Not again, not again, I don't want to," he muttered.
Markov gave Valdis a pat on the shoulder, "hey man, it's cool, we're OK." If the group checked their time prisms they would find that they were 203 years after the sinking of Atlantis into the ocean. Inside the stadium was unmistakably a crowd that seemed to be cheering.

Ram caught up with Halo before long with the others. He saw Markov make efforts to keep the two Valdis' apart, so he went to check on Halo and Past Valdis. "Great, you two are ok!" Rem said, releaved. "Being involved in a time paradox isn't what I really expected out of today, but I guess we can scratch that off the bucket list. Now we should figure out why we..." Rem started to say outloud, before the world around them began to change. It wasn't like the portal back to the past, but more like they were actively moved forward through time. He almost felt motion sick, as he steadied himself. "Ugh...What version of Valdis was that..." He took out his Prism to check the years, but it wasn't a year he knew, outside of being after where they just were. Rem took note of Valdis' reaction to the stadium, and was putting two and two together. "Alright...so if Valdis is reacting the way he his to this...he's been here before. I'm not really sure how, or why, but it makes sense...But why are we here?"
-----------
Aqua glared at Tavin, not phased by his comments and taunting. Keera finally responded to Tavin, which she was happy she wasn't going to need to try and hold Keera together. When the Trevor clones began to attack, Aqua was intercepting blasts with high power water she formed. "Good idea. We got to get away and regroup for now." She called forth more water, which in a one to one fight, could overpower some Trevor clones, but there were a ton of them. On top of that the Irates would be gathering. We still need to get that crystal, as well as any possible information out of him...But if he needs Keera, we might be able to use that to our advantage... Aqua tried to move her defensive game towards the real Trevor, as he'd have trouble getting to her. "Quickly guys, grab a hold of me. I can get us out of here!" Aqua called out, as she fought off the Trevor's. Once everyone in the group worked their way towards her and grabbed her, she would've used her Ki to move everyone with her instant movement teleport. She'd teleport everyone to some other clear area in the Shadow Realm, a good mile from the battle, and away from hostile auras. It might give them some time to think.

Skylos found it pretty jarring that he was suddenly shifted somewhere else in time. While he was actually used to this, it was usually because he had pressed a button. That, and it had been a long while since the time traveling escapades. "I guess it never occurred to me that Valdis is older than he looks." Skylos commented. "I think his mannerisms made him seem... young." Skylos frowned. "Valdis. We should probably get you away from that... although. If we were entangled in those events, we may already be entangled in these events." He sighed. Time loops had to be executed.

Once Time began to move around them again, Halo let it take her with ease. Their job at that point must have been done.
When they settled back down, she began to take stock of their new location. "Wow... bit of a jump..." Halo looked up at the stadium ahead. "I figure that's where we need to be next." If it made sense, she'd start heading toward the stadium, for Skylos was certainly correct.

Even normally, Trevor would be inclined to agree with Keera's thoughts to retreat in a situation like this, even more so now that he was no longer at 100%. He was not at all about to fight Keera's decision on the matter. "I don't disagree! I think I'm good enough to move us underground, unless you think we ought to teleport away."
