A food monster, the Black Pea Pod is the last stage in the pea pod life cycle. This is also the most powerful stage of the Pea Pods. These peas are fierce, despite still having a somewhat cute face. Their form now looks like a long snake like creature, but now with only two legs. It also has two arms, both legs and arms clawed. It has fangs, as well as a lizard like tongue. It's believed the pea pod monsters evolved past the purple stage, because they detested being weaker then their foes, and tired of being somethings meal. Few monsters prey on this food monster now, because of it's strength and appearance. They attack with claws, fangs, crushing their foes by constricting them with their body's, and with power attacks like blasts and beams, which are fired from their mouths. It also keeps the attack it had in its last stage, where it rolls up, and its power covers it to make it like a giant ball. But, because of the believed reasons of its stage change, it traded its power of shadow for something stronger. Darkness. They can be rather cruel with their dark abilities, using mind traumas and such. The most common ability they use that is a darkness ability is the Dark Touch. They are like hunters now, but for the revenge of their fallen friends. They still don't eat other beings, but they eat fruit and veggies now, as long as they aren't food monsters. They still live in pea pods in groups of three, but not just for hiding reasons. It still is their home. They only flee from fights, and hide in the pod if they are weak, and picked a fight with something they couldn't defeat. These things are strong, and can be hard to fight since they are nearly always seen in a group of three, at least. Being part lizard, they should be weak to cold, but the darkness protects them from cold. Best bet is to use light against them, since that is their primary weakness. Weapons work well as well, but just don't cause the same amount of damage powers do. These things attack quickly flowing from one attack to the next, so stay mindful.
