Data log # >?@+=@$&
This file begins weeks before the huge battle at the Universal Nexus against the Crystal Demon. This file is a bit shorter than others, but it has its usefulness.
A person, clad in a suit of advanced armor, or power suit if you'd like, was fighting a bunch of demons. They were Steel demons to be precise, if that's what they were. The power suit colors consisted of red, blue, and some gold. The arm cannon and left hand were colored platinum. A helmet was also worn with a orange visor. You couldn't see inside the helmet at the moment. The Steel Demons fired rapid fire blasts at the one in the suit. A device on the side of the arm cannon activated, creating a force field in front of the device. The blasts were bounced back, then the man in the suit blasted each demon with a blast of blue electricity it seemed. This energy was actually called Ion energy. This energy stuns living things, and shuts down mechanical things by hitting them with an electric charge opposite of what the object runs on. Seeing Steel Demons are like cyborgs, Ion energy proves to be most effective in shutting them down. The man in the suit picked one of them up. It spoke, but its voice was different than it actually is because of the helmet. "I know you know something about the Crystal monster stuck at the Nexus. Something about it breaking free. Now tell me what you know." He ordered. Then in the eyes of the Steel Demon, the number five appeared, and it was counting down. "Ugh" The man said, tossing away the demon for it to explode in the air. "Another dead lead, Kronos. I'm heading back to the cave." The man said, speaking into a radio in his arm. Or something of the sort.
"Yes of course, Rem." The voice of the man named Kronos said. After the call, Rem made a portal, and stepped into it. He appeared inside what looked to be a cave. It had all kinds of computers and machines, and things of that nature inside. Rem pushed some kind of button on one of the gauntlets, and the power suit started to put itself away. It folded up until it was two orb like objects on the gauntlets. The helmet was also gone. Rem's hair had grayed a bit since his earlier world saving days eighty years ago, and the rest of him had aged as well. However, during battle he used a Time Demon orb to keep young so he could battle at his best all the time. Though like some things on the gauntlets themselves, it doesn't always work that way. But it's never caused an accident when it hasn't worked, so it hasn't caused a problem yet. The clothes he wore were the ones he always did, but this outfit was in black and white. "Well that lead was a bust." Rem said.
"Terribly sorry sir." Kronos said.
"Its not your fault Kronos. I'm guessing Kane and Raylu aren't back yet from investigating the other lead?" Rem asked.
"No sir. But they did report a while ago. Their lead was a dead end as well." Kronos answered.
"Ugh. That's not as I hoped. Something is going on with that Crystal demon at the Nexus. But I can't very well go, and just look around now can I? That thing is out of anyone's league." He walked around, and sat in a chair in front of a large computer. "We know something is going to happen with that Crystal monster at the Nexus, and we know it's gonna happen soon. But other then that, we don't know anything else useful on the subject. Have we gotten any calls at all about this problem Kronos?" He asked.
"No sir. Nothing of any use." He answered.
"Hmm...It's to be expected I guess." Rem closed his eyes to think. But it might of also been due to the lack of sleep he's had lately. Then a call came in on the computer. "Hmm? It's from Vain, the Phantom Demon king. What could he want?" Rem said aloud. He put the call through.
"Ah Rem! I'm glad I could get a hold of you." He started.
"Vain. What an unexpected surprise. For what reason are you calling me? A reason where you don't even have the time to say hello." Rem joked.
"Sorry about that. The reason I called is that this rouge Phantom Demon has appeared in the Phantom Demon Realm. Eric informed me earlier and said it somehow got out of the capture orb vault in France. Eric was going to go after it, but he's busy with another problem, and the demon is chaos ranked and has enough skill in Lunar Demon powers to render any of his attackers powerless-"
Rem cut Vain off. "And I'm the most powerful person who can't be made weaker by Lunar powers to take him on, and capture him." He finished.
"Well that wasn't what I was going to say, but it is fitting. No I was going to say that Eric told me that I should call you in to recapture him. Eric said he highly recommends you and your abilities to get the job done. And of course I've seen your work. So can you handle it?" Vain asked.
"Hmm...Very well. Where is he located?" Rem asked.
"Meet me in front of my palace in the Phantom Demon Realm. I'll tell you everything you need to know then." Vain answered.
"Very well. Expect me soon." Rem said, ending the call. "Well I'm heading off again Kronos. Keep me posted if anything else comes up okay?" Rem said. Kronos nodded. Rem then got his power suit back on, and made a portal for the Phantom Demon Realm.
--------
In moments, Rem appeared outside the palace. He walked up the long clear path up to the main gates. Vain was standing at the gate. Rem showed a blue, yellow, and white badge that had the letters SF on it. He thought Vain might not know who he was in the power suit, so he showed him the badge so he could be sure. "Glad you could make it." He said.
Rem took off his helmet, as a sign of respect I guess. But mostly so he could speak face to face with him. "Yes. Now you've already told me the problem. Where do I catch this demon?" Rem asked.
"He's hiding out at one of our old war bunkers from the Lunar-Cat-Phantom war, on the edge of the realm. It's a sturdy stronghold, so it could be tough getting inside." Vain said.
"Leave that to me." Rem answered. Then he started talking into his wrist communication device. "Kronos, send me my speeder craft. I got a bit of a road trip to do."
"Yes sir. Right away." He answered. In a few short moments, a arrow shaped machine appeared where he first appeared in the realm. It looked kinda like some sort of bike or something. Rem got on it, started it up, and took off. This speeder could move pretty fast and put him almost to his destination in about fourty minutes. Then cannons on the bunker started firing at the speeder. Rem was able to dodge these sudden attacks, but just barely.
"Fully functional cannons. Just great." Rem said. He kept dodging attacks until he was in attack range. Then he changed his right arm into arm cannon mode and fired Ion blasts at the cannons, shutting them down. Rem soon reached the base entrance, and got off the speeder. He saw the door needed a card key. Rem looked it over, and found no way of picking the lock. "Ugh. I don't have time for this." He placed a strange black device on the door, and backed away. Once far enough away, he set off the device, which happened to be a remote detonator. It blew the door wide open. "So much for a quiet in entrance." Rem said, as he came back and went inside the bunker. Rem looked through the base. The security in the place wasn't running anymore it seemed. It had been hundreds of years since it was used. Rem walked into an old room of the base where all kinds of files and information was kept. Of course this was just old war information, so it wouldn't be useful to Rem's mission. On a table were some card keys. Most doors in the bunker opened by them, so he grabbed them so he could proceed with little noise.
Rem tracked the demon to the lowest floor, to the biggest room in the bunker. A card key was needed to get in, which Rem used. The room was large, and full of boxes and crates. A few old cannons were stashed in here as well. Rem walked around the room. "I tracked his aura all the way here to this room. He's got to be in here some where..." Rem thought. Then all of a sudden, the cannons both started up, and opened fire on Rem. He quickly jumped out of the way of the oncoming attacks. Rem aimed his arm cannon around. "Show yourself!" Rem yelled.
"Never! I'm not going back to that capture orb!" A voice said, that came from everywhere. Then the creates flew at Rem. He blasted them apart before they could hit him. Rem pushed a button on his helmet, and his visor turned gray. He could now clearly see objects that were invisible. Once he could see his attacker, he tried to take aim. It was hard to with the cannons firing at him again. Once it was fully charged and he had a clear shot, he fired a beam of plasma at the demon. The demon was hit, and blasted back. He hit the ground, and became visible. The demon got to its feet and pulled out a pitchfork. He flew at Rem.
Rem drew the energy sword, and its multi colored blade, and blocked the attack the demon tried on him. He tried many up-close attacks on Rem. Some hit and would of killed him if he didn't have on the power suit. The rest, Rem blocked. Rem's goal was to capture not kill, so instead of slashing or stabbing when he had an open shot, he fired ion blasts at the demon. Once the demon noticed its body getting a bit numb, he flew back a ways, and started making the cannons fire again. Rem blocked the blasts with his sword, and the force field device on his arm cannon. Once the cannons took a second to recharge, Rem blasted them with ion blasts. The demon growled. He made all the crates float in the air, then at Rem, while Rem cut and blasted them out of his way. The demon then filled his pitchfork with phantom energy and dark energy, making the pitchfork have a black and purple glow. He then tossed it at Rem, and it flew at super fast speed. It would kill him if it got through the armor.
Rem moved slightly to the side, and he grabbed it as it passed. The demon looked shocked. "I'm getting old, but that don't mean my reflexes have dulled." Rem said, tossing the pitchfork back. It hit the demon through the arm, and pinned it to the wall. It yelled in pain, then Rem blasted the demon a few more times with ion blasts. It stunned its whole body. Rem then gave it a little bit of a red potion. "This stuff will heal you, but not before you're back in the custody of the capture orb vault." Rem said, hitting the demon with a capture orb. It was captured inside the orb. "Well that chore is done." Rem said, making his way to the exit. He made a portal back to the palace, while he sent the speeder back to his base.
-----
Rem appeared where Vain was waiting for him. "The job is done. I'll take care of him." Rem said.
"Thanks. Not that he would do much harm in an empty realm. I heard from Kronos during your capture mission that you have heard that the Crystal Demon at the Nexus is breaking free." Vain said.
"Yes indeed. Ol' Omni is getting tired of being trapped. But it's only rumors I've heard. No proof." Rem answered.
"Well I have the proof. He is breaking free." Vain informed him.
"What?! Why didn't anyone tell me?" Rem asked, in a loud voice.
"I'm telling you right now aren't I? Besides we weren't going to tell the old gang until it was needed. But since you're trying to investigate, I thought I'd save you the trouble." Vain answered.
"Ah. I see....Well....Now what?" Rem asked.
"We are training those that we need to train for the upcoming battle. Your great granddaughter is also one of the kids we are training. So until the time comes, I advise you to wait until called upon." Vain answered.
"How do I know you'll actually call on my help? Don't expect me not to find you if you don't. My family means a lot to me, so don't think I'd let anything happen to her." Rem answered, with a straight face.
"Yes yes. No need to worry about her, or about being called upon. I just don't want you trying to look into this by yourself. This is Omni we're talking about. You will be contacted when the time comes. Please don't worry." Vain said.
Rem looked him in the eye for a moment. "Alright. I see no reason to think you'd lie to me. Please do keep in touch. And please take care of her, or you will regret it..." Rem answered.
Vain nodded." Of course. Good day to you Rem."
"Good day Vain." Rem said, as he made a portal. He headed on back to the cave.
Once he appeared in the cave, Kronos came to greet him. "I see your mission was a success, as usual master Rem."
"Please Kronos, no need for the master line. Makes you seem like a butler." Rem said, removing the power suit like before.
"Yes of course sir. Slip of the tongue." He answered.
"I assume that Vain informed you of Omni braking free from the Nexus soon, correct?" Rem asked him.
"Yes of course sir. I figured a demon king would be a good person to ask, so I did." Kronos answered.
"Well a good thing you did. Saves us all a lot of work for the time being."
"Oh yes, the misses headed down to miss Lumana's earlier today. She invited us for dinner." Kronos informed Rem.
"And when do we need to arrive?" Rem asked.
"About four and a half hours I believe."
"Then I'm going to get some much needed rest until we need to leave. No reason to show up half asleep." Rem joked.
"Very good then sir." Kronos said, with a slight bow. Rem nodded, then left the room.

Data Log # $$%&**!?
This file happens right after the Crystal Demon battle, and the reunion in the Upper Realm. Sadly the data logs on the Crystal Demon battle have been lost from the computer files. But not to worry. They won as they usually do. And it seems the main character of this data log happened to get in a fight with a samurai with Ice and Wolf powers in the Upper Realm, leaving him storming off. It turned out that he stormed off to the Nexus. He just waited around there on his own for a little while, until he started talking to himself. "Stupid Masamune....He never lets up on that...'Beat me in love' my foot! He's the one who broke her heart! Made her wish her life was over for who knows how long! He thinks he's so much better then I am...Ugh arrogant fool...." Rem ranted.
"Indeed....You would of been...much better for...her...wouldn't you say?....But then he....did beat you....when you think....about it..." A voice said, from behind a pillar.
Rem quickly resuited his power suit, and his right hand changed into arm cannon mode. He aimed his arm cannon around. "Who's there?" Rem asked.
"Aww Rem....Don't tell me you.....forgot about...me....I mean how could....you?...I've been your main....enemy....for years...." Said the voice of Giga, as he came out from behind the pillar. The evil Beast of emotion.
"Can you blame me? It's been what? Thirty years or more since I last saw you? Since Zalendor finally fell. Besides, what do you want?" Rem asked.
"Me? I don't....want anything....Just to talk....like we always used...to...Plus I was enjoying....watching the battle....of the ages....I had my money on...you all anyway..." He answered.
"I don't care for your kind of talking." Rem answered with a stare.
"Aww...don't be that...way....After all we've...been through....After your team...froze....my master....in that blasted....subspace!" Giga shouted.
"He got what was coming to him. It's a shame what happened to my team because of that battle though..." Rem said, looking down for a second.
"The only...shame in that....was that I...didn't....jump on the chance...and kill you all!....But that's...all blown chances....in the past...New chances arise...." Giga paused for a moment. "Besides...I sense your...emotions....Masamune flares...them up inside you...For...what you lost...Because of her..."
"I gave her up a long time ago. Shes happy now, that's what matters." Rem answered.
"So...by give her up...you mean stop trying....cause she's...off the market?..." Giga taunted.
"Wrong Giga. Yes it still burns me when that topic is brought up, and I do wonder if there was anything I could of done to change what happened between us, but I don't let that control me any more. Besides I have a wife, and I'm very happy with her. As you already know Giga." Rem glared.
"So what your...saying is...since you couldn't have Halo....you just decided...to marry Aqua...because she was the....only choice left..." Giga smirked.
"Wrong. You couldn't be more wrong. You're right that I can't help but wonder what it would of been like with me and Halo, but I love Aqua more then anyone else in the world. And nothing you could ever say or do to me would ever change my mind!" Rem said, looking at Giga with anger.
"Easy to say....seeing your options..." Giga mocked.
"You think you know my every thought. But you forget that we were one a long time ago. And the way my mind works has changed since then. Half of what you say may be true, but the other half is just lies you try to hurt me and others with. My thoughts have changed since then. I used to love Halo. I loved her more then any other person I ever knew, and knew afterward for a long time. I loved her with every part of my being. But after what she did, and the other things she said after that, my feelings for her changed. And I love Aqua more then Halo. I love her more, because she actually loves me back." Rem said.
"Heh heh heh...So touching...Words mean...little..." Giga taunted.
"I don't expect you to understand emotions the way every other living being does. You only see them as tools to hurt others, and bend them to your will."
"And it's....a very useful....ability...to have.." Giga was saying, but Rem interrupted him.
"What's your reason to show up all of a sudden? After Zalendor met his end, you disappeared. No activity from Terra 275 for years. I wondered if someone else killed you already. But why show up again, after all these years? You didn't attack for years because you knew you couldn't take us alone, why try now?" Rem asked.
"I've been growing....in power...for all these years....Much like a...Phantom Demon...And I must...pave the way...for when Zalendor....returns...one day..."
"Oh give it up Giga! He's sealed in a prison even he can't get out of, and there isn't a thing you can do. You can't even be your own man. You don't know how to lead, and act on your own." Rem paused. "In fact....I feel a bit sorry for you."
"You mock me!?..." Giga shouted
"No, I'm not doing anything of the sort. I have nothing to gain to mock you. I really pity you. You can't be your own person, because you never could be your own person. Being what you are you don't understand emotions, other then how to control others with them. And now here you are, with nothing left but this shred of hope that your master will come back to lead you. Because you have nothing left to live for."
"Stop it!....Stop your lies..." Giga ordered.
"It's the truth isn't Giga? What do they say about the truth? It hurts." Rem said.
"What do you....have to gain...to point...this...out to me?...What can you gain...by bringing me...lower...then I already...am?..." Giga asked, in a voice that sounded weak for Giga.
"To offer you a chance at something else." Rem said.
"What?...What do...you mean?" Giga asked.
"You have never had your own choice. Born in the heart of a war over the world. Serving the one who created you. Doing nothing but causing chaos and pain to all those against you and your master. Not having a real life. Or a real choice. You were made for evil, so you do evil. But you do have a choice." Rem said.
"Why?....Why would you....offer me...a chance?...After everything I've....done to you....and your family...and friends....After everything...I've done....You'd give me....a chance?...Why?..." Giga asked. Not in sorrow. But in confusion. Lots and lots of confusion. Why would Rem say something like that?
"You may have done many awful things. You've tried to kill us many times. You nearly killed my first born daughter. And my wife, many times. You nearly took the love of Isaac's life by a selfish motive. You turned Kane against me with your words, and nearly caused him to lose his memory forever. You killed someone me and Ralph both cared very much for. You tried to ruin my friendship many times with the gang. You almost ruined my mind. Many things you've done. But im willing to forgive you, and give you a real chance if you want to change." Rem said. Was this really him talking?
"But why?....After everything...I've done....Why would you ever....think about forgiving...me?" Giga asked, in even greater confusion.
"Because I think there is some good in you somewhere. Something that wants to change. I know Chaos Darkens act the opposite of their host, heck look at Hydra. But you've said yourself before that there is a small amount of evil in me. That's what you've said. You tried to pester me with that as well. And if that's true, then you must have some good in you. You have your own mind and will. And you can be something different if you want to. And that's why im willing you give you a chance, and forgive you." Rem paused for a minute. "Well?" Rem asked, reaching out his hand.
Giga looked at Rem for a few moments. He had a look in his eye he never had before.
-----
Then Giga reached out and grabbed Rem's hand. He then smirked, and tossed him into a pillar. "Heh heh....You really think....I'm gonna fall for that....trap of yours?....Sorry..."
Rem slowly got up. Ugh...That look in his eyes....Something did click with that beastly brain of his...But then the evil in him is probably to strong... "Alright then Giga. You made your choice. Come on!" Rem said, putting his helmet back on.
"You have sealed....your fate..." Giga said, going into his shell. He then started spinning at Rem. Rem blasted plasma from his arm cannon at Giga as he came at him, but with no effect. Rem jumped over Giga at the last second with the help of his jet boots. Giga then came back out of his shell. "Come on...Rem...You can do....better than that...You have more....than a cannon..." Then Giga morphed his arms into arm cannons, and fired white fire at Rem. Rem jumped to the side to dodge, then fired more blasts of plasma. They didn't seem to hurt Giga very much. Giga then morphed his arms into tentacles, and sent them at Rem. Rem backfliped, then drew his sword. With Aura power in the sword, he slashed the tentacles as they came at him. Giga actually felt a lot more pain from this attack. "Ugh...Better...But not good...enough....You're slipping....Rem..." Giga smirked.
"Less talk, more action." Rem said back, firing a beam of Aura from his cannon arm. Giga countered with a beam of Chaos Darkness from his own arm cannon. Both moves were even. But then again, Giga has two arms. With his free arm, he morphed it into another cannon. Giga fired a super cold mist of ice at Rem. Slowly Rem was turned into a block of ice.
"Warning. Danger. Suit reaching super low temperature. Heating system damaged. You must resolve this problem before suit empties on power." A computer voice said to Rem.
"Yeah yeah I know, I know." Rem said from inside the suit. He started charging a beam of plasma in the arm cannon, while the sword became flame bladed. His arms were free, and he fired beams at Giga from the cannon and the sword. A light started flashing on the suit, near the helmet.
"Heating systems back on line." Soon the suit thawed itself out.
"Brrr! Man that's cold." Rem said. Rem then looked around. "That's great. Where did Giga go?" Then Rem sensed his aura behind him...a little too late. Giga hammered him with both arms into a pillar. Giga then ran at Rem with both arms morphed into spikes. Rem recovered in time to block these attacks with his sword. Rem still had his sword skills. Once he had a clear shot, he blasted Giga away with an Aura Beam. Giga got up slowly, his body regenerating. He then got back in his shell, and started spinning at Rem again. Rem charged a beam of Aura in his arm cannon, and fired it once Giga was inches away from him. The force of the blast blasted both of them back. Giga crashed into a pillar, while Rem caught himself.
Rem quickly fired a few aura spheres at Giga. He was hit by two or three, but then got out of that spot before more hit him. Rem fired a few missiles from his arm cannon, but Giga destroyed them with dark lightning. Rem then fired a larger missile, and when it was close it broke into many missiles. They all struck Giga, but he kept on going. Giga then fired purple smoke out of both his arm cannons, and his mouth. This was poisoness, but the suit filtered out poison gasses, so they didn't affect him. "Sorry Giga. Gas wont get through the suit, remember?" Rem said.
"Wasn't trying...to..." Then a spinning Giga came out of the smoke, and crashed into Rem. As Rem flew through the air, he fired his hookshot to a pillar top, and pulled himself to it. Giga tried to follow Rem, by jumping into the air, high above the Nexus. Rem was using the Nexus's different gravity to his advantage, as Giga fell much slower. Rem used this to charge a large Aura Sphere. And since Giga was in mid fall, he couldn't do anything, or reach Rem fast enough. Rem fired the sphere at Giga. Giga glowed black for a split second, as was then hit by the sphere. 'Course, Rem knew his move all too well and blocked a blow from Giga's claws with his sword. But then Giga kicked Rem with his powerful, Chaos Darkness infused foot. Rem was kicked away, and his back crashed into a pillar. The back of the power suit sparked a bit. Still atop the platform, Giga opened his mouth, charging a Chaos Darkness beam. Rem's cannon glowed yellow for a second, charging an attack.
Then Rem said, "Bolt blast!" And a powerful blast of electricity was shot into Giga's mouth, faster than he could dodge. It exploded in his mouth and it stunned him for a moment. Then Rem fired lots of Light Stars from his arm cannon. These were razor sharp and their spinning made them more deadly. Giga was hit by every single one, making Giga looked a bit dazed. Then Rem charged fire energy in the arm cannon and also fired two very large Fire Balls. The Fire Rocket attack. Giga recovered from the last attack in time to dodge, but the gravity slowed Giga's fall -- slowed it enough for the Fire Balls to catch up with Giga, and hit him. The force of the explosion blasted Giga to the ground. Rem then charged at Giga with his sword drawn. But once he got to Giga, Giga punched Rem and smacked away the sword. It landed at the top of the altar's stairs. Giga fired explosive seeds at Rem, and Rem fired strange colored leaves at the seeds. Both attacks met, and destroyed each other. However, Giga used the smoke the seeds made as a cover. He got back into his shell, started spinning again, and then rammed into Rem. The force of the impact knocked him into the air. Giga then launched the spikes of his back like missiles at Rem while he was in mid air. They hit Rem in the air and exploded. Rem hit the ground hard.
Giga grabbed him by the leg, and slammed him into the ground many times. Rem was taking a lot of damage, and the suit barely reduced the pain. Then Giga tossed him over to the stairs, and he tumbled down to the bottom of them. Giga then jumped, and landed on top of Rem. "You never.....could beat me....on your own...And let's face it.....you're past your....prime...A weakened....old man..."
"Power suit energy tank damaged. Suit damage reaching critical levels. You cannot sustain another blow like that." The computer said.
Ugh....just my luck.... "You forget Giga....I've killed you once. And I was the first to beat you to a pulp. Plus you've never beaten me...What makes you think you have this wrapped up?" Rem asked.
"Heh heh heh....Calm in the...face of....death....aren't you?...I like that....But you have....met your match....after all these years....And the glory....will be mine...!" He laughed a little, then asked. "Any last words....before I'm rid....of you....forever...?" Giga asked, morphing his arm into a spike.
"Yeah. Think fast!" Rem said. He had charged Power Demon orb energy into his foot, and kicked the bottom of the stairs. His sword, which was at the top of the stairs, started tumbling down. It fell, and stabbed Giga in the back of the head. Giga roared in pain, and Rem kicked Giga off of him with both feet. His sword went right into the air, and Rem jumped up and grabbed it. When he landed, Giga charged at him. Rem swung his sword three times, and fired waves of Aura at Giga blasting him back. Giga crashed at the bottom of the stairs, and the aura started burning his dark skin away. Rem then fired a few beams of aura at Giga, causing more of his body to burn away. Giga roared in pain and agony. It was just like when he was first killed. Rem then started charging a large Aura Sphere, ready to finish this battle after so many years. He stared at Giga as he screamed. Then he heard him speak something.
"H-help....help me....Please....help...." Giga cried in pain. This is it....This is how it ends....I don't want to die like this again.... These thoughts raced through Giga's mind.
Rem then looked at Giga, his eyes widened. He thought, Could I really go through with this? All the pain he's caused. I could end it all here and now. No one would ever feel his pain ever again. But then he thought, But I offered him forgiveness. Could I really take it back, like it was nothing? Rem just stood there, with that large Aura Sphere in his hand. He watched Giga burn with aura for a few more seconds. Then Rem said to himself, "No....I can't..." The Aura Sphere slowly shrunk until it disappeared. Then Rem took out a capture orb, and put it on the end of his arm cannon. He fired it at Giga, and all of Giga was sucked into the orb. It rocked around for a few seconds, then stopped moving. The aura that burned Giga soon disappeared. Rem walked over, slowly, and picked up the capture orb. He looked into its glassy surface. "Well....Either way...It's over...." Rem said, putting away the orb. Giga sat inside the orb, and his body slowly regenerated.
"He....He saved me.....He offered me forgiveness....and I took advantage of...that offer...and tried to kill him....And he spared me...He spared my life...It must of....been a trap...a trick...that offer....but he took that risk...And he saved me....from a burning death.....Why?..." Giga didn't understand. But he'd have a long time to think about it in the capture orb.
---------
Rem removed the damaged power suit, just like he did the earlier times. He took a bottle of red potion out of his old pouch, and drank it all. "What a way to vent that anger..." Rem said to himself. Then two people came out from behind a pillar. Both had blue hair. One was young, and one was much older. Of course the older one didn't look as old as she was. "Rem!" The older one said. "Great grandpa." The younger one said.
Rem turned around. "Aqua. Cerulean. How long have you two been here?" Rem asked.
"From about the beginning. When we couldn't find you in the Upper Realm, we came looking for you." Aqua answered.
"Ah, I see. Well as you can see, I'm fine." Rem answered.
"We can see you're fine. But I think she's talking about how you feel great grandpa." Cerulean said. Aqua nodded.
"Oh....I see...." Rem answered, looking down. "So you heard that much, huh?" Rem asked. He...never liked Aqua seeing him like that. That shred of doubt. That small amount of feeling, making Aqua feel like she wasn't what he wanted. Giga was so good at that. And Aqua had seen Giga use that against them enough times to read what Rem was feeling.
"Rem?" Aqua started. "Did you mean everything you said to him?" She asked, moving his head so their eyes would meet.
"Yes." Rem said, simply, and a bit weakly.
"Do you know how much that means to me Rem?" She asked. "I understand that you've had strong feelings for Halo in the past. And I know that still bugs you at times. But you said yourself that you love me more then you loved her. And that means so very much to me. Because I know how much you loved her. And to know you love me more then that....It means more to me then anything." She said, with a smile on her face.
Rem smiled, his eyes watering a little. But not quite crying. He kissed her on the lips for a few seconds. "Oh Aqua...I love you so much....You are so understanding, after so many years..." Rem said, now hugging her.
"I love you too, Rem. So much..." She said. Her eyes were watery a little now too.
"Aww...That's so sweet..." Cerulean said to herself.
When they stopped hugging Aqua said, "After so many years together, and you don't think I wouldn't understand?" She asked.
"Well that's not what I meant, I..." Rem started.
"I know Rem. But I've always understood once it was clear to me. I'm surprised you still haven't realized that." Aqua said, joking a little.
"I just care about your feelings too much, to take the chance that you wouldn't understand. I always have." Rem answered, with a smile.
"Aww." Was all Aqua said, and she gave him another kiss.
Cerulean just watched them talk. She found it all to sweet.
Rem then decided to talk again. "You did such a good job in that battle Cerulean. I am so proud of you." He said. He actually hadn't talked with his great granddaughter in quite sometime.
"Yes. You really must take after us." Aqua joked.
Cerulean laughed a little, blushing a bit. "T-thanks. That means a lot." She paused for a moment. "That monster Giga....It talked about a lot of stuff my parents didn't tell me about. I knew you all had been through a lot, but I wasn't told a lot of stuff. At least it sounds like they didn't tell me a lot. Maybe you guys could tell me about some of your old adventures." She asked.
Rem smiled. "Of course. We would be glad to. I have all of our old adventure logs at our old team base in France. But then sometimes those story's are better told by those that were there, then just reading about them. I'm surprised your mom and dad didn't. I'll need to speak with them about that." He smirked a bit.
"That monster....Giga. He said he was your main enemy. Was he really that bad?" Cerulean asked.
"Oh yes he was.....He caused a lot of pain on us all. So many things. Whether or not he was the strongest foe, he was the one who hurt us the most for the longest. Hurting you on the inside....I'm glad you and your friends never had to face him." Rem answered.
"Enough about that for right now. The family is getting together at our place tomorrow for a get together. A bit of a party for our win here against the Crystal Demon. And you are staying with us until the party." Aqua told Cerulean.
"It will be nice seeing everyone all together at once again. It doesn't happen enough." Rem said.
"Yeah I know. Sounds like a lot of fun." Cerulean agreed.
"Well then let's get back to the house, and get ready for everything. You get to help Cerulean." Aqua told her.
Cerulean smiled. She loved her great grandparents, so she loved being with them. "Yes ma'am."
"Let's go." Rem said, making a portal. And they left to prepare for their celebration party.
Later that night, Rem and Aqua were sitting on the porch of their house together. It seemed it was on some kind of farm. A small little pink and light blue, round bunny like monster was on Rem's lap asleep. Rem was petting it. It was so cute. "Quite a day huh?" Aqua said.
"Yeah. You think Cerulean can finish dinner herself?" Rem asked
"Yeah she'll be fine. She knows what to do." She paused for a moment. "What a past couple days. Skylos and Neon are free from their crystal prison, along with Omni. The Crystal Demon is gone. Giga was finally captured. Crazy huh?" Aqua asked.
"Yeah it has been quite the trip, hasn't it?" He paused. "Quite a long and wild ride its been all these years. So many friends and foes we've had..." Rem then took out the badge with the SF on it.
"You still miss them huh?" Aqua asked.
"Not a day goes by that I dont. Time goes on. It does things you can't possibly change."
"Yeah I guess....Rem. Dispite all the rough spots, would you change the life we've all had?" She asked him.
He closed his eyes to think about that. "Some things have happened that I wish could of gone differently, but I don't think I'd change much. The hard times, made the good ones worth so much more..." Rem answered.
"Hmm....I agree....So what do you think will happen next?"
"I have no idea. I think the worst has happened, but something else always happens. Guess only time will tell." He answered. He stopped to think for a minute. "You know. Thinking about it. When the Light Sage asked me to look after you and protect you all those years ago, I never thought it would be something long term like this." Rem said, laughing a little.
Aqua laughed a little as well. "Yeah, I didn't either. I guess life is funny like that." She paused. "You don't think he knew that when he told you that did you? I mean him knowing we'd be together like this." Aqua asked.
"Hmm....Maybe. You never know. The Master Sage could of told him. But I guess he knew what he was talking about either way you look at it." Rem said, with a slight laugh.
"He he...Yeah I guess you're right." She said back. They both sat there with little sound as they looked at the clear night sky, full of stars.
"Let's watch the night sky a little longer before we go give Cerulean a hand..." Aqua paused for a moment. "Tonight reminds me a lot about the night we finally got together you know? The night sky was so beautiful that night too...." She said.
"Yeah I know....I was thinking the same thing...." Rem answered. They both leaned on each other, as they watched that beautiful night sky. What other kind of troubles will ascend onto the gang next? Who knows. But peace only lasts for so long, and this peace will have its time. Who knows, the next problem could be right around the corner.
End of Data Log.....
-----
Now maybe you're also wondering the same thing Cerulean was. The stories of their old adventures. These last two data logs may have brought many questions to mind to those who weren't apart of these adventures. Well, if this old computer can do anything about it, then you may find out for yourself. And of any other adventures to come. We will see soon enough then won't we?
End of Data Log....
------------
------------
Data Log # $$%&**!?
