No Auto-Hitting. (Unless consent is given).
No Auto-Charactering (Unless consent is given).
No Omnipotence (Over powering).
No Omnipresence (Being everywhere at once).
No Omniscience (Having your character know everything).
Post to other people and not only yourself.
Take turns posting. An order will generally be decided on before an event starts.
Use detail to back up your dialogue (unless you really can't think of anything), which should be in past tense.
Allow at least 24 hours for a pause before ending an engagement, unless otherwise specified.
Don't make another problem or event when there is currently already one. This extends to other threads while an arc is going on on the Main RP when you could be posting there.
Time skips are not permitted during an arc, but feel free to do one at the beginning of your arc, so long as it isn't over a month.
Arcs should last from one week, to six weeks. If you feel you cannot complete your arc within the allotted time, ask an admin to extend your duration (but you'll only get about two more weeks to be fair to the others who are waiting). When you want to do an arc, you must submit a brief description of your arc that outlines a basic idea of what you have planned. A short sentence is fine. You must also wait to do another arc until everyone else has had a chance that wants to do an arc to do one. An admin will add your arc title to the Arc Reserves once all criteria is met.
Keep Out Of Character [OOC] chat to a minimum and use [brackets] when off topic.
Don't repeat yourself over and over.
Please don't use the quote button so much because it spams the thread with useless text and makes pages load slower.
Prep post when necessary, which is generally for the stronger attacks. The first number is current turn, the second is how many it will take to use. [#/#]
Use Third Person Limited (he, she, and it) when Role-Playing on our site.
Post in paragraph style - no asterisk posting. This also means that you should be using quotation marks and other punctuation.
Use italics when thinking. Ex. He's annoying...
Use bold, underline, or -Hyphens- when emphasizing. Ex. He was -that[/u]- huge!
Separate characters with --- on a line by itself, if they aren’t at the same place as your main character. (You can also use [ hr] (no space) to make a line.)
Please don't CAPITALIZE your entire sentences.
If you have anything to add or talk about, please give me feedback.
