What was the year? 1807 I think. It was my birthday...April 1st. I was thinking to myself as I walked around, about how bliss life was. I was fifteen and I was a farmer on the east side of America. I had green eyes and annoyingly black hair. I wore your everyday straw hat and worked spring through fall, planting and harvesting. I went to school whenever I could, and had few friends. Life was rather redundant in those days; The same thing would happen year after year. My parents told me, "That's life for ya." I frowned...I started to want something more in my life. My name was Sid, by the way.
I started to like books at that time. There were few around since most books were hand-written and took ages to complete, but I got by on reading codex on Demons which I found amusing, since I always figured that they never existed, and everyone was always throwing off a false alarm. There was one that really amused me, more than the rest. It was a so-called "Slime demon." They pictured it as some giant, foul, green beast who attacked for no reason. I shrugged it off, since there weren't such thing as demons, in my mind. I could never have been more wrong in my short human life...
There was a swamp around where I lived, and other kids liked playing in it. They also said to stay away from it at night, that it was "haunted." I laughed. There were no such things as ghosts either. They of course didn't believe me, and I had it set in my mind that I was going to prove that to them. Late one night, I went in that old swamp. A heavy mist was rolling around and I could hear frogs and such. Though...after awhile, all noises stopped. I sensed a presence moving through the area. Generally, I thought that some of the kids had come to scare me...but no.
I felt a hand on my shoulder. Liquid sank through my shirt and chilled my skin. I turned around and met lime green eyes, and a grin. I...wasn't expecting what I saw...I backed up into something solid...well...my back was slimed also. Another one of those creatures had appeared behind me and now wrapped its six wings around my body, except for my head. I struggled, but to no avail. They didn't speak; actually, they only chuckled at me. I felt something enter my neck...Pain was present for only a second. Numbness followed...I couldn't feel anything. I learned later that they were fangs injecting me with a stunning venom.
The creature not holding me, made some sort of mist that entered my ears and caused me no pain, since I was pretty much drugged. I felt...strange...lacking a better term...I suddenly felt strength and the numbness went away. The only way I knew that something had changed on my body, was the fact that there was a full moon. I could feel that something changed...me. The creature unwrapped me and I noted that my fingernails were longer, and my teeth felt larger and the canines felt longer. I looked questioningly at the creature behind me and then I realized what they were. Slime Demons...They were real. I had just now become Half-Slime Demon. I panicked, since I didn't what to say...or how anyone would react to me. But then instinct kicked in. I didn't -have- to tell anyone. I grinned to myself and then decided to be the first one to talk. I asked them what they did to me...and they said something about perfecting my futile life. I thanked them...though I still didn't know how half converting me did anything to help my boring life.
I went home after they left and went to sleep. The next day, I proved that there were no ghosts, and that they were free to roam there at night. I learned later that thanks to that statement, I helped in converting about 20 kids. Anyways...I found that my life was still rather useless. I learned how to conjure slime and twist it into many shapes. I liked orbs the best...The slime seemed to meld into that form. I also noticed the increase in my strength and people commented on how strong I was. Though after awhile, I really wanted power and I began to crave it...I longed for it. I went back to that swamp and found the two demons waiting. They seemed to know what I was feeling and invited me to their realm. I stepped into the portal and was face to face with their king. I bowed of course...generally not knowing what to do.
He asked me weather I wanted to become a full demon. I grinned and replied with a yes. He gave me a goblet with a black liquid in it. It was demon blood, -his- demon blood and it tasted...lively...The next moment, I was with wings, tail, claws, horn studs, green hair, et cetera.
I left humanity that day. I look back and find that I might have made a mistake. I must have caused great pain to my family. I couldn't go back...The damage had already been done. I spent the next 199 years sealed in a sub-space for a high crime I did; I killed a fellow Slime Demon out of anger of betraying myself for power. Oh I got power alright...spending such time all alone in that small space. I was even powerful enough to escape and even found some kids to vent my anger out on. Well...They almost killed me, with all of their powers...had it not have been for my now best friend, Caleb. I took over his body and hid in there for awhile. I caused trouble for their little group, but I ended up becoming great friends with them...Though I must admit that I still want to take over Earth. Heh heh...
