Characters
This is a list of all the characters present/deceased in this RPG.
---The Team---
Below you will find a list of the characters lurking around the realms of the World Savers RPG. Many of our human characters have inherent magical powers, simply called Power that they use to combat the forces of evil trying to destroy the Earth, mainly.
Skylos Caleb Pantech
(Caleb) A Light Human, son of Walter Pantech, nephew of Charles Pantech, and 4x Great Grandson of Omni Pantech. Known to most people just as Caleb. Once an ordinary boy, he was given a Light Soul by Tranductus, his 3x Great Grandfather, which ended up being Neon's long lost Light Soul. Skylos ended up developing his own soul, so he gave it back to Neon, who won't ever use it, probably. Skylos could be considered the leader of the group, and due to his optimistic and friendly demeanour is often at least considered to be the glue which binds it together. He is close friends with his fourth cousin Neon in particular, but also shares a close bond to Lareo, the ex-Phantom Demon King, who he calls the Phantom Master. Skylos also adores Tom, his... Uh... third cousin, once removed(?) and considers him his hero.Neon Pantech
(Mike) A Dark Human, son of Vexen Pantech and nephew of Tom Pantech. Unlike Skylos, he is generally quiet and self-contained. He is distrusting of newcomers, but despite his generally emotionless behaviour is very protective of his friends, and particularly Skylos. His past is much more mysterious than his cousins, although it's known he was once a Light Human but at some point chose to become a Dark Human instead. He is generally considered to be one of the group's strongest fighters, and, like all descendants of Rukia Pantech, has the ability to create chains from his own bones as well as use ordinary Darkness attacks. He went out with Alice for a while, back when she was called Sango.Rem Stratford
(Rem) A Demonslayer, and also able to change into a twilight wolf. He is thus far the only one of the group with no inherent magical powers, which he compensates for with a pair of gauntlets made for him by E Link and Omni which can use a variety of orbs and demon orbs, and a twilight shard which allows him to change into a wolf, as mentioned above. Rem is usually quiet and unassuming, although not private as Neon. He went out with Halo for a while until she finished him. After joining the group, Izerion made an evil clone of him and the rest of the group, but only Rem's clone remains alive to this day, having been made real by Lareo, and given the name Draco and also developing Void powers. Rem is also favoured by Omni for reasons not yet apparent, but it could be that Omni just finally found someone he liked.Halo Ravioli
(Wendy) Halo is the hybrid demon of the group. She possesses the Power of Time and Storm. Under storm, she can manipulate things such as ice (because of hail), lightning, wind, and water. For Time, she can age things in either direction, as well as stop things entirely. She is always found in her favorite color red, and she also used to date Rem, but she decided to break up with him, causing Rem to be a little sour sometimes. Other than that, she tries her hardest to help everyone, albeit she can be quite random at times.Date Masamune
(Ralph) A samurai from the time of Feudal Japan. Famous in his time as "The One-Eyed Dragon" for his infamous one eye, he has since regained his lost eye upon coming back to the world of living. Although several have been raised in the same fashion as him, he's currently the only one to fight with the group on a regular basis. Very hot-headed and fairly quick to take offence, he's nonetheless brave and will fight vigorously for his friends. Of the group, he's closest to Skylos. He and Neon used to share a slightly uneasy relationship due to Masamune having tried to kill Neon while being possessed by the shadow wielder Hattori Hanzo. This has since been resolved, fortunately. He fights with two pistols, a katana and a sabre, implying some training in both firearms and swordsmanship, he is thus far the only samurai introduced that uses a gun, and the only character other than Dillon to use one. In battle, he could be called the group's strategist, though he rarely shares his plans with the rest of the group, possibly making sure that the enemy does not know his plots. He is capable of making up a plan on the spot and putting it into immediate affect, and then if that plan fails, he will think up another.Miyamoto Musashi
(Steven Nathaniel Flanagan III) Musashi is an ageless samurai born in the late Sengoku era. Fighting at the Battle of Sekigahara at the age of 16, he was by his early 20s thought to be one of the greatest swordsman of his time, and was considered unparalleled after defeating his rival Kojirou in a duel. After staging his own death upon realising his immortality, Musashi travelled the world, taking part in many of History's biggest events, such as both World War I and II. He was initially known to the group as Ichiya. He has a big-brother relationship with Alice, and is also very close to Wrath, acting as somewhat of a loving family member towards him. He, like Neon, is a very strong fighter, yet unlike Neon he specializes in close-combat fighting rather than using magic. The stronger of the two is yet to be distinguished. is considered the group's best close-range fighter. Furthermore, like Yamiken and Alice, he often goes off on his own rather than with the group, though he visits from time to time. Musashi is close to Masamune, nicknaming him "His cycloptic friend" even though his eye has returned, which implies Musashi has a thing for old habits. He is sometimes seen chewing toothpicks or sunflower seeds, claiming for the past 100 years he has been a recovering smoker. Musashi has shown on numerous occasion an ability to break the fourth wall, he knows he's in an RPG and doesn't seem to care. Heck, he probably knows you're reading this right now. Musashi owns three blades, a katana with a 24" blade, a wakizashi, (which he almost always uses at the same time.) and a tanto, which he says is his most prized possession. Musashi is also an accomplished electrician, and a self-proclaimed comedian, often making jokes in any situation he can. He was once married to Yisha, but she killed herself by jumping off of a building (which wasn't entirely her fault). Musashi disappeared for some time after this, but returned as happy as ever. Though still, sometimes he talks to himself (or perhaps Yisha in the next life) and seems solemn for a second or two. He has a habit of breaking doors, and his only fear is moles. In contrast to Masamune, Musashi tends to charge into battle and make it up as he goes along, which often frustrates his teammates. He uses the elements of Dragonfire, Water and Crystal, the last of which he obtained by becoming the Avatar of Knowledge, ironically.Ponic Shade
(Dan) The first shadow wielder of the group. Ponic was once the leader of the group, as he often took control of the situation and came up with a strategy to victory. You could say he was "replaced" by Skylos as Ponic often was too courageous, but he is starting to learn, still he often comes up with a solid strategy for the group in battle. Ponic was born in the shadow realm just as it was invaded. Him, Keera and Markov took care of each other during the conflict, to get to Ponic, Keera was killed. Not long after Ponic was kidnapped by the shadow king's forces and his darker half of Izerion was put into him, Markov was killed right in front of Ponic's eyes while this happened. Ponic is now trying to make up for all that happened from his darker half, he now lives with the group with Markov and Keera, he is trying to forget his past but it haunts him almost every second of his life. No matter the reason though, Ponic will do anything for his friends, including give up his life for them should he have to.Secondaries:
Felix "Omni" Diskolos Pantech
(Caleb) The Pantech family patriarch. Omni is a powerful and mysterious Void Human; when Omni goes past 70% of his Void Power, he turns into the form of a Crystal Demon. He helps the group from time to time, particularly Zach and Rem, who despite not being of his own family he seems to like, but overall his motives remain unclear because he hates to include people in the dangerous things he's usually up to. Omni is also unfond of taking sides, preferring to occupy the middle ground - hence he is also on fairly good terms with Yamiken. He has taken Draco in to be his assistant, being the first person to find out all about Omni by spying on him via a Light Prism when Draco had snuck into Omni's house. Recently, Omni has attracted the attention of Morodin, a Death Human counterpart of Yamiken who wants to split Omni into his natural forms of the Light and Dark Dimension Stones and use the latter for ultimate power in his plot to destroy life. Basically, he and Krystallos are Omni's only enemies.Matthias "Tom" Pantech
(Mike) A part-Dark, part-Lunar, part-Death and all-Cool Human who is Neon's uncle. Hardly ever seen without his trademark black jacket and sunglasses - or indeed his Death Human's scythe. He is Neon's uncle, but doesn't share his nephew's introverted nature, getting along well with most people he meets. He is however still very close to Neon, and is one of the few people in recent years to experience the rare privilege of being hugged by him. Tom's past is rather mysterious - it is currently known that he was one of the subjects of the Aperture Science Centre, but right now the details of what happened to him there are unknown.Eric
(Rem) A man from the past that Rem got to come to the future to help out. He was responsible for creating Rem's Power Gloves. After some help from Omni, he manged to make some Power Gauntlets that are much stronger than his original invention. Eric has decided to stay in this timeline to work on his inventions in his base.Zoe
(Wendy) Zoe is Halo's cousin, and a Water Human. She isn't very strong at the moment, but she is learning. She was kidnapped as her first mission with the group, but now she has Akechi Mitsuhide to train her, as he is also a Water Human.Keera
(Dan) Ponic's close girlfriend. She was murdered by a light assassin, when she was about 13, it was not till many years later when Alice gave one of her nine lives to Keera to keep her alive. She's been with the group for the last few years, while she does not tend to fight in the front lines with her friends, should the situation call for it, Keera will join in and help. As a fighter she is fairly alright, but her talents are more in shadow magic, and she knows a few ways of making different drinks out of herbs. Keera tends to get quite emotional around death, she claims to never want to kill anyone, and never has. Keera is also good friends with Masamune, Halo, and Eric.Oda "Yamiken" Nobunaga
(Ralph) A Dark Human, but strangely can use other attacks that would be considered Light moves. Canonical explanation: his Dark Soul was altered by the being (for now unnamed) who gave it to him in order to make him more powerful. (OOC explanation: we had no beginner's guide then so his RPer winged it and accidentally went against established convention). He is one of the principle recurring villains of the RP (though due to the arc system most villains are unique to the current plot). Originally a powerful lord from Japan's Sengoku period who became known as 'The Demon King', he was betrayed and killed when he tried to summon a demonic serpent called Orochi; however, he was recently resurrected and this time he succeeded in his attempt. Yamiken was later forced to sever his control over Orochi, but took as a parting gift three fragments of crystal from his brain which hold extraordinary power (of the other five, four were given to Omni, and one was stolen by Xiahou Dun). Yamiken kept one crystal which he has tied to his hand; it gives him a huge increase in power, and also some control over Dimension. He is currently travelling the universes trying to conquer as many as possible, having succeed on a few so far, most notably Terra 000. Although arrogant, he can be pleasant when necessary - even if it is only a façade. Yamiken is a very competent fighter, having won most of his fights against the other characters. It can however, be speculated he does not fight fair, as in a number of his fights he has had some special help. The same, however, can be said for the opposite as he has often used his powers to even out the odds, such as creating clones to fight the bulk of the World Savers. Thus far, Musashi is the only character to have defeated Yamiken in single combat without maximum difficulty, as all other victor over Yamiken have seemingly completely lost all energy afterwards.Maeda Keiji
(That weird Irish boy who lives up north)He rides horses. Big horses. He rides many horses. And he has a sword. A very big sword. He uses his sword while riding big horses. This is all.
